ISLAND TIME • REMOTE WORK • SLOW LIVING
Doesn’t our own soil also need to regenerate, so that we can be fresh and rested for new beginnings? Shouldn’t we also move with the rhythm of nature?
From October to April, we offer an affordable long-stay experience designed for those seeking a slower, more grounded way of living. With high-speed Starlink internet, it’s an ideal setting for remote work—where your office can shift between a quiet room, a sunlit terrace, and the sound of the sea.
Life here follows a rhythm shaped over generations, in a village that dates back to before the 12th century. It’s not a polished, picture-perfect escape, but something more real: the everyday life of a small Dalmatian community, with all its charm and quirks.
KALI TOUR • MEET THE VILLAGE • LOCAL SONGS
During the excursion, you’ll take a guided walk through the village, experience live musical and vocal performances—from ancient Glagolitic chants to traditional songs—watch a short film, and taste local gastronomy. You’ll also have the opportunity to take part in a simple and joyful learning of the traditional silent circle dance, known as kolo hoj-hoj.

Yet Orjak is a place for everyone, regardless of belief. At the summit, you’re rewarded with a striking contrast of views—on one side, a panoramic outlook over the village of Kali, and on the other, a sweeping landscape of ancient olive groves. This peaceful stretch leads you to the small Chapel of St. Pelegrin, dating back to the 14th century.
This longer, scenic walk rewards you with a sudden and breathtaking ascent to Glavine Hill, overlooking the village of Kali, the tranquil bay of Mala Lamjana, and a Mediterranean landscape .The path then continues through a stretch of shaded pine forest. Gradually descending, the trail leads you through ancient olive groves and concludes in the charming village of Preko, the perfect place to relax and enjoy a well-earned cold drink by the sea.
Dobri Put is a historic walking trail connecting the villages of Kali and Kukljica on the island of Ugljan, offering a journey through the island’s past and landscape.
